Ingredients

12 servings
  1. 150 grams★Bread (strong) flour
  2. 150 grams★Cake flour
  3. 5 grams★Dry yeast
  4. 8 grams★Baking powder (aluminum-free)
  5. 25 grams★Sugar
  6. 1/3 tsp★Salt
  7. 1 tbsp★Vegetable oil
  8. 170 ml★Lukewarm water
  9. 15 grams★Skim milk powder
  10. 100 gramsGround pork
  11. 20 gramsCooked bamboo shoots
  12. 1Shiitake mushroom
  13. 1/2 smallOnion
  14. 1 tbspKatakuriko
  15. 1 1/2 tspSesame oil
  16. 1 tbspOyster sauce
  17. 1 tspSoy sauce
  18. 1/2 tspGrated ginger
  19. 1 dashPanko
  20. 1 dashSalt and pepper
  21. 1 canSweet adzuki bean paste (store-bought)

Cooking Instructions

    Put the ★ ingredients in the bread machine, and start with the "dough" setting. Meanwhile, prepare the fillings.

    Pork Bun Filling: Finely chop the onion, bamboo shoots, shiitake, add all other pork bun ingredients and mix well!

    When the dough is done, divide into 10 to 12 portions.

    Roll into balls, and place them on parchment paper that was cut into smaller pieces.

    Roll the dough out, and wrap the filling.

    This is my way of shaping the buns...

    Wrap the sweet adzuki bean paste in the same way. I used store-bought sweet adzuki bean paste.

    You should be able to make 5-6 buns with 1 can of sweet adzuki bean paste.

    Place the anman on the parchment paper seam side down.

    Let it proof for 20-30 minutes in the oven with the proofing setting.

    Steam in a steamer for 15-20 minutes, and they are done!
