For marination-In a bowl, add chicken pieces along with red chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder and lemon juice. Mix it well.keep it in the freezer for 15 minutes.

In a pan / kadai, add cooking oil and add chopped onion satute it for few minutes, then add tomatoes and garlic cloves, ginger piece to it. Saute it for 2-3 minutes.

Let it cool down, after cooling down blend it and our paste is ready.

In the same kadai, pour cooking oil and add bay leaves, black cardamom,red chillies, cinnamon, cloves,dry spices and our prepared paste to it. You can use cooker also.

Stir it well until it leaves oil. Add chicken pieces to it. Cook it in low-medium heat.

Add required water to it and let the gas simmer. After 10 minutes switch off the gas. Our spicy lemon chicken is ready to serve.

Serve it with any Indian bread or rice.
