First grind onion, cashew nuts, green chilli, garlic and ginger

Poppy seeds and add little water. Grind it into fine paste.....Once it is done keep aside.

First wash fish twice with haldi powder and salt. Drain the water and marinate the fish with haldi powder, salt, red chilli powder and 1 tsp oil mix..it well and keep aside for 4 minutes. Heat refined oil in a kadai. Once the oil is hot slow the flame and fry the fish one by fish till it is light brown in colour both the sides...Once it is done. Then transfer to a plate and keep aside.

In the same oil fry the onion till it is brown in colour. Once it is done then transfer to a plate and keep aside.. In the same kadai add little oil. For tadka : Fry all the whole garam masala for few seconds.

Then add the grind paste. Saute it for few minutes. Then add haldi, red chilli and dhania and jeera powder. Fry it well add the left over masala water. Mix it well

Fry till the raw smell of masala goes off....Add water as needed. Add salt. I did not use garam masala. It is optional.

Add fish one by one. Cover and cook till it is gravy or the fish cooked well. Then sprinkle chopped coriander leaves...Switch off the flame...

Cover it for few minutes. So that the smell of coriander leaves flavour will be their in the curry...

Ready to serve.....Spicy fish korma....with.....hot....steam...rice....
