Mix milk and water together. Soak the rice in this mixture for about 1 hour.

In a pan, add ghee and transfer the rice mixture.

Add cardamom. Let the rice mixture cook.

Blend the pineapple pieces in the mixture into puree. Cook this puree in sugar syrup for about 5 minutes.

Once the rice mixture is half cooked, add the pineapple puree, pineapple essence and mava.

Add the dry fruits. Cook the mixture till the rice is fully cooked.

Transfer to the serving bowl. Garnish with tuti fruti.
