In a bowl add Ata, water and make a soft dough, set aside covered

In a bowl soak Chana Dal overnight, strain and add to a pressure cooker, add 1 cup water, turmeric powder, salt and pressure cook for 2 whistles on high flame, set aside to drain and add to a bowl

In a wok heat oil, add cumin seeds, add the chopped onions and cook till softened. Add ginger garlic paste and chopped green chilies and cook for 3-4 mins

Add Chana Dal and mix well. You can use a hand blender but I didn’t as Chana Dal having soaked overnight was soft. Add salt and mix well. Set aside to cool a bit. Make lemon size balls

From the dough make bigger balls and place in your palm and keep pressing your thumbs and index finger to make a bowl shape, add the stuffing and fold well from all sides. Set aside

On the kitchen top sprinkle Ata and with rolling pin roll out in a circular shape the Paratha. Complete the batch

On a tawa heat with 1 Tbsp oil and place the Paratha. On medium flame fry one side for 2 mins, flip the side and add oil again. Fry for 2 mins

Complete the batches and set aside

Plate with Aloo Dum as I did or onions, green chilies, achar or Dahi
