Walnut Tart

Tart is one of my favorites snake , but there is a huge variety of tarts , in different shape and different flavors.
So in my family everyone have to take different kind of flavor so I will make a basic tart crust dough then made then with many types of tarts. As my daughter likes lemon tart, my son likes chocolate tart and my husband like to take walnut Tart 💗
So here is one of my favorites and also my husband's favorite recipe walnut Tart 😋

Ingredients

1 hour approx
6-8 servings
  • For Crust~
  • 200 gbutter
  • 100 gicing sugar
  • 1/2tesp vanilla essence
  • 2 tblsMilk powder
  • 300 gflour
  • Pinchsalt
  • Filling~
  • 200 gChopped walnuts
  • 200 gCastor sugar
  • 3egg whites
  • 20 gbutter

Steps

1 hour approx
  1. 1

    To make tart shell add butter into a bowl with icing sugar and vanilla essence then beat it, till creamy and pale.

  2. 2

    Then add powdered milk, salt and sifted flour. Mix them lightly.

  3. 3

    Mix till Make a smooth dough. Wrap the dough with cling film or plastic wrap. Then keep them into fridge for about 30 minutes minimum.

  4. 4

    Then roll the dough with rolling pin by dusting flour and set the dough into a tart shell.

  5. 5

    Fork mark into tart shell then bake for about 20 minutes at 170° then let it out from the oven.

  6. 6

    Add butter, Castor sugar, chopped walnuts and egg whites in a pot and cook until it's thickens. When the bubbles appears then put them into prepared half done tart shell.

  7. 7

    Keep the filled tart shell into oven again and bake at 170° for again 15-20 minutes.
    (Filling top crust should be looks crispy from top)

  8. 8

    Tasty walnut Tart is ready for serve. 💕
