Rinse and add potatoes in 2 litre presser cooker add 2 cup water presser cook for 7-8 whistles after cooling itself remove lid remove potatoes from water then peel and mash

Don't mash too much add green coriander leaves salt and (in small grinder take green chilli ginger garlic 1-2 tspoon water and make paste

Heat 1 spoon oil in small pan add mustard seeds cumin seeds when they crackers add termiric powder assofodeta stir add ginger garlic green chilli paste mix and stir

Add curry leaves all in mashed potatoes lemon juice mix well make medium size balls slightly flatten potato balls keep aside.

In another bowl take besan turmericpowder red chilli powder salt baking soda salt water whisk make smooth thick batter

Heat oil for deep frying in kadai once it hot carefully remove 1/2/1/4 tspoon oil with long spoon mix in batter mix well

Take potato vada and deep in gramflour batter evenly all over gently place batter coated vada in hot oil. Deep fry flip with slatted spoon make golden crisp. Fry seedless and slit green chillies sprinkle salt.

Your delicious batata vada ready to eat.
Serve with green / red dry garlic chutney and bread / pav - 9
Enjoy with evening tea time snack.
