  • 1 1/2 poundsbrussels sprouts (halved)
  • 1 tablespoonolive oil
  • 3 clovesgarlic (minced)
  • 1/2vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cupheavy cream
  • 2 teaspoonscornstarch
  • 1/2 cupgrated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoonItalian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste

    In a medium sized skillet add the brussels sprouts, olive oil and garlic. Sauté until almost tender about 5-7 minutes. Remove the Brussels sprouts and set aside.

  2. 2

    Add the vegetable broth, heavy cream, and cornstarch and whisk together until smooth. Add the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper. Simmer until the sauce starts to thicken.

  3. 3

    Add the Brussels sprouts and toss to coat in the creamy sauce until heated through.
