In a clean bowl pour sugar, 1 egg, and butter, beat until is light and fluffy.

Add the remaining eggs one after the other, until you finish all. You then add the flavour.

Now add your flour, corn flour, baking powder and baking soda, mix well, and add it to your butter mixture in 3 batches

Fold in everything nicely and be carefully not to overmix.

Pre heat your oven now.

Divide the cake batter into three part.

Add cocoa powder to the first one, fold in carefully until its well incorporated. You may add 2tblspn of milo if you wish. (chocolate cake)

Add red food colour, 2tblspn of milk and the lemon juice, to the second portion, mix carefully and set aside (red valvet cake)

So arrange you cup cake tin and put the linen and scoop 1 Spoon to each tin.

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, it depends on your oven type.
I used gas oven and baked for 8mins using only down heat first, and 2mins for the up heat. - 11
If you want to design the white or plain batter, use milo, liquid milk, cocoa powder and mix into a nice batter,

Then drop small amount of the mixture to your plain cup cake before baking, and use a tooth pick and make different designs.
