Steps

In cooking pan add heat oil. Add urad dal and channa dal. Saute till pinkish. Add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, cummin seeds as splutter, add curry leaves, green chillies and saute for 30 seconds.

Add turmeric powder and grated coconut and saute for 2 minutes.

Add boiled rice,salt and mix gently. Cook for 2 minutes.

Garnish with roasted cashewnuts. Keep covered for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Serve /Relish Delicious Nutritious Thengai Sadam with fried Appalam.
