Chhuara or dry date is a delicious, nutritious and stomach filling food. It is an excellent source of fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals. The present preparation enhances the taste of chhuara with addition of lemon juice and spices. It can be stored for some time.

Chhuara or dry date is a delicious, nutritious and stomach filling food. It is an excellent source of fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals. The present preparation enhances the taste of chhuara with addition of lemon juice and spices. It can be stored for some time.
Steps

Wipe dry dates with a napkin to remove impurities. Cut it lengthwise, and remove the cap and seeds. Make four pieces from one dry date.

Add lemon juice to the sliced chhuaras and mix well. Keep the bowl under the sun for 3-4 hours.

Sprinkle all the spices on the lemon juice-soaked chhuaras and mix thoroughly. It is ready to eat. This can be stored in a bottle for a long time.
