Steps

Take chana dal and Moong dal and dry roast it in a vessel and wash it nicely. Take a cooker and pour one glass water and add your washed chana dal, moong dal and little bit of milk and let them have 8 to 9 whistles so that your chana dal is cooked nicely.

Be patient for some time. In the meanwhile, start the next step. Take jaggery smash in to powder consistency and also remove the skin of Elaichi and take two tsp of sugar take your mixie grinder and powder it nicely.

Then next step is pour 2 tsp of Desi ghee and fry your dry fruits and keep it in a tray.

Then next step is open your pressure cooker and check with your hand your chana dal smashes nicely then it is ready to prepare your final stage of preparation of payas.

Take a strong kadhai pour some water add your jaggery powder let them cook and filter it. all the small dust will disappear. Then add your boiled chana dal, Moong dal mix with your jaggery paste let them cook nicely lower your gas flame and add your remaining milk, and milkmaid mix nicely and put off your flame. this stage you have to be very careful about your payas consistency because when jaggery mixed with your milk and milkmaid, do not overcook it.

Finally add your dryfruits/. your payas is ready. Today I have prepared for ganesh puja after puja I have distributed to all my friends nearby and those who were working with me as helpers.
