Rasam powder : 5 red dry chilli or as needed, 2 tbsp dhania seeds, 2 tbsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp black pepper seeds and few curry leaves. Dry roast for few minutes. Once it is done. Cool it and grind it fine paste. Once it is done keep aside. Now heat oil in a pan. Fry 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, few crushed garlic cloves, few curry leaves and dry red chilli saute it for few seconds. Once it done. Keep aside. Store the masala in a air tight container.

Soak 10 pieces of kokam soak in Lukewarm water for 5 minutes. Now add Kokum water. Then add red chilli powder, salt...

Add prepared masala and 1 tsp jaggery. Then add water as needed.

Cover and cook for 2 minutes then sprinkle chopped coriander leaves. I like coriander leaves that's why I have used it. But it is optional.

Transfer to a serving bowl. Ready to serve with hot....steam rice...
