First of all, soak the gram lentils for 5 to 6 hours.Then cut the lauki into cubes and mix the lentils and gourd in a cooker. Mix turmeric and salt.

Turn off the gas when the 7 to 8 whistle come. Then take a pan. Add oil some oil, then cumin seeds, onion, tomato, green chili, and hing and mix it all up and fry well.

Then add turmeric powder coriander powder garam masala Kasuri methi. Cook all the spices well. Then mix the daal. Then allow the daal to boil well.

Then serve hot by adding green coriander to it.
