Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare 9 slices of ginger.

  2. 2

Prepare goji berries and red date the exact amount to prevent over nourishing.

  3. 3

If using frozen, properly thaw it first. Rinse the thawed pork ribs, drain and leave aside.

  4. 4

Add about 1200ml of water in your pot, enough to submerge the pork ribs. Add the thawed pork ribs, 6 slices of ginger, and 2 tablespoons of cooking wine.

  5. 5

Cover the pot. Turn on high heat. Once it starts to boil vigorously, remove the parboiled pork ribs and leave aside.

  6. 6

Prepare a pot of clean 1200ml boiling water. Add the parboiled pork ribs, 3 slices of ginger, and red date slice. Cover the pot. Slow boil using low-medium heat for about 45 minutes. Don't open the lid until time is up.

Wash the red apples outer skin thoroughly of any pesticide residue. Cut each apple into 8 slices, remove the core and seeds thoroughly (beware apple seeds have toxin!!!).
