Baked Corn Casserole

My family and I makes this dish at every holiday and family get together. This year it was my turn to make it for our holiday Easter dinner 😊#Easter2021

Kids got tired of plain old corn so I decided to try something a little different. The cheesy corn bread just tops it off!!

Easy, simple yet family approved.

I was given this recipe from a good friend of mine, and teaching colleague April Bieri. I was in charge of taking corn to Thanksgiving, and I thought this was a bland idea. In discussion with April she shared this amazing recipe to replace boring ol' corn. My dish was hit and the pan was empty.

I'm southern and I ain't eating no cornbread out of a box or so I thought. This recipe is delicious and a perfect side dish. You'll never know jiffy was in there! Try it out, I guarantee you'll fall in love with it as I have.

Got this from my mother, not sure where she got it from but it’s definitely good stuff. I doubled the recipe for Easter, worked out well but had to increase time by about an hour.

My coworker gave me this recipe from a past potluck, and now I bake this for every holiday get together. Everybody always wants this recipe because it's extremely delicious. It's also very easy, but you'd think it took more time preparing... Make this recipe your own byadding a touch of your faves like onions or bacon!!

I really like Paula Dean's corn casserole, but my kids said it was too bland. I took Paula's recipe and to it added creole seasoning, jalapeno, and red peppers. It pairs well with a can of ranch-styled beans for a filling lunch/dinner meal that is affordable and tastes great. #GoldenApron23 Week 4 Corn

This is something I just threw together tonight with ingredients I had on hand. The cornbread was some leftover cornbread with only 2 pieces missing. Lol. I will probably add more cheese next time and some jalapenos!

This recipe was great. I had to put it on 350 to cooked it with another recipe then the last 5 minutes put it on 375 for the nice golden brown color. It turned out great and it Def has a great flavor and the French onion dip adds a little spunk.

There was this Italian Restaurant in Lower Manhattan that made great Polenta over Sausage and Peppers. I love polenta, but you have to stir it a lot to make. I decided to try a short cut and came up with this idea. Not as creamy as that old restaurant, but still very good. Another crowd favorite in my large and picky family.Basically, this can be made with any meat and vegetable combination. In the future, I plan on making it over Chicken & Broccoli. So far, I have made it over Chicken & Peppers and Sausage & Peppers(Twice). For the picture, I made it over Sausage &Peppers.I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did. The only negative to this dish is when it is over. :-(Enjoy!

Added a twist

Easy to make, wonderful dish for the whole family. My husband taught me how to make this meal but, I modified it. I served it with texas toast, asparagus, side salad, and honey melon. Also great with shrimp yum yum!

Just seeing where I can take my Classic Escalloped Corn. Cream Cheese is always an upgrade.
