In a bowl sift baking soda and flour and set aside

Cream butter and sugars in a mixing bowl until fluffy

Add in egg and yolk and vanilla and mix until all blended

Add dry mix half at a time and mix but don't over mix

Add chocolate chips and pecans and mix together then refrigerate for atleast 2 hours

Preheat oven to 350

Cut your cookie dough in peaces and divide in to 2 inch squares

On a cookie sheet add some parchment paper and roll your dough into a ball and make sure they have space inbetween the cookies and flatten with a fork and bake for 9 minutes

After few minutes of being out of the oven transfer to cooling wrack for atleast 5-10 minutes and enjoy
