In a skillet, over medium heat, melt butter then add garlic. Let simmer 1 minute.

Stir in flour and form a paste. Stir in chicken broth and whisk to remove lumps. Stir in milk and let simmer for 6-8 minutes until thickened.

Turn to medium-low, add cheese, salt, pepper, and chicken. Remove from heat and let thicken.

In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Cook fettuccine for required time. Add broccoli for the last minute if cooking.

Strain pasta and broccoli, pour sauce and chicken over the pasta and stir.
