Mongolian Chicken

Mongolian Chicken is similar to the popular Mongolian Beef served at restaurants which are made with beef strips and green onions, cooked in a brown sugar sauce. It has a sweet flavor from the combination of salty soy sauce and brown sugar. The flavors of the fresh garlic and ginger make it so delicious specially when served with fried rice or egg noodles or chow mein. I prefer to make with chicken egg fried rice .

Cut the chicken thin bite sized pieces. Add soy sauce

Add black pepper powder, salt, cornflour

Add egg white and mix well. Leave it for half an hour at least.

In the meanwhile, prepare veggies, cut capsicum in thin slices and green onions

Take a skillet pour oil heat it up. Add marinated chicken. Now make your flame high and fry till light golden colour.

Plate the chicken.

Heat 2 tbsp oil over medium high heat in the same skillet. Add chopped garlic and stir fry then add ginger paste and stir fry again.

Then add capsicum, green onions, red chilli flakes and mix well.

Add white vinegar, Chinese Chilli Oil

Add soy sauce, sugar and mix well. (maray pass brown sugar Nahi thi To sugar Dali aap brown sugar dalay)

Then add Fried chicken and toss to coat with the sauce.

Dish out and sprinkle the sesame seeds, green onions slices.

Serve hot with Chicken Egg Fried Rice 😋.
