Steps
- 1
Mix yeast and sugar in half a cup warm water set aside to rise. Mix flour, salt, cooking oil. Add in your yoghurt or mala and mix. Add in you yeast mix and continue kneading as you add water as desired. The dough shoul be soft but not sticky.
- 2
Apply some oil on bowl and spread evenly so that the dough doesnt stick. set aside in warm area for 1 hour or less depending on how fast it doubles in size. Knead gently and cut into balls. Mine were 10 pieces.
- 3
Heat you pan and start rolling the cut dough. Place on hot pan let it cook on both sides. Once done you can eat as is or spread some (melted margarine/butter/ghee+dhania/coriander mix) serve with desired stew or curry.
Had mine with mbaazi/ pigeon peas and beef fry.
