Ingredients

  • 2 tbspbarley flour
  • 300 mlmilk
  • 1 tbspsugar
  • 4-5fresh dates
  • 2 tbspchopped nuts of your choice (I've taken cashew nuts, almonds and pustachio)

Steps

5 minutes
  1. 1

    Take barley flour in a bowl, add some water to make a slurry.

    Heat milk in a pan, when warm gradually add barley slurry, stirring continuously.Add sugar.

    Cook 2 minutes on low heat.

    Add chopped dates and chopped nuts.

    Stir and cook 1 minute. Put off heat and let it cool.

  6. 6

    Serve warm or chilled.
