Ingredients

  • 1small whole chicken
  • 5shallots
  • 1cinnamon stick
  • 3star anise
  • 2 piecesrock sugar
  • 3 tbspcooking wine
  • 2 tbspsoy sauce
  • 2 tbspdark soy sauce
  • 2 cupswater
  • 2 tbspoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat wok then fry the chicken to make the slin golden browm.Then remove.

    Next stir fry the stsr anise,cinnamon stick,shallots,ginger,garlic until aromatic.

  3. 3

    Then put back chicken then pour all the wet ingredients.

  4. 4

    Cover and simmer for 30-35 mins.
