Ingredients

15 - 20 min
2 people
  • 1 tbspbrown / white rice { soaked }
  • 1 cupskim / low / full fat milk 🥛
  • 2walnuts chopped
  • 1/4 tspcardamom powder
  • 1 tspjaggery / you can add to ur taste also
  • Few slices of pistachio, almonds & dry rose petals

Steps

15 - 20 min
  1. 1

    Heat milk 🥛 in a deep nonstick pan; drain & grind rice with 2-3 tbsp water & grind coarsely

    Add ground rice in to the milk & cook ; stirring till thick

    Add cardamom powder mix well add jaggery & switch off gas ; jaggery will melt in warm phirni

  2. 2

    Add chopped walnuts & stir nicely

    Pour in to individual earthen pot & garnish with some sliced almonds & pistachio { optional } dry rose petals

    Keep in refrigerator for set ; after 3-4 hrs when set enjoy chilled phirni
