Chayote Dal for rice

Take all the needed ingredients. Grind the given ingredients.

In a cooker add sliced chayote,dal,garlic pods,chilli turmeric powder and salt.pour 300ml water. Close the lid and wait for 4 whistle.

Dal and chayote cooked well. In a hot pan,add oil and do seasoning,then add diced onion,saute. Then add sliced tomato,saute until it turns mashy.

Now add,cooked chayote dal and mix,add some salt. After a minute add grinded paste and cook for
10 more minutes. Finally sprinkle coriander leaves and turn off the flame. - 5
That's all. It's yummy. It goes well with white rice.
