Gajar Halwa is quintessential winter dessert in India, especially in North India. This delicious b dessert is prepared with carrots along with milk and sugar as key ingredients. Though sometimes khoya, milk powder, condensed milk etc. are added for quick preparation as well as richness and creaminess in this halwa. Peeling and grating carrots is a big task in making halwa. But today I have prepared this halwa without grating carrots and I have also added beetroots along with carrots to make more healthy.
