Aloo chicken salan

Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pot and saute onions till golden brown.

Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilli paste. Cook 2 minutes.

Add chicken and cook till colour changes.

Add salt and ¼ cup water. Mix, cover and cook 10 minutes or till chicken is 80% done..

Add the tomato puree and the powdered spices. Mix and cook till oil separates.

Add potatoes, mix to coat with gravy.

Add as required water, cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Serve garnished with cilantro.
