This is one of my favorite winter days meals. It’s so creamy and delicious. It’s not “soupy soupy” and it’s not so thick that you can eat it with a fork.

This is one of my favorite winter days meals. It’s so creamy and delicious. It’s not “soupy soupy” and it’s not so thick that you can eat it with a fork.
Steps

Heat broth and cream cheese together until cream cheese is melted. Stir in cumin, chili powder and black pepper.

Add chicken, bring to rolling boil for 3 minutes, reduce heat and simmer on low heat for one hour or in crock pot on low for 2-3 hours. Stir occasionally.

Serve with rice and/or Southern cornbread
