Separate the cauliflower buds and wash them in water
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a kadai over medium heat. Place the steam basket in the boiling water. Place the cauliflower florets in the steam basket and steam. Steam until soft but mushy - 4
Add ghee and oil to a pan over medium heat; Add mustard in hot oil; let the seeds pop open. Add cumin, fenugreek seeds, roast for a minute or so. Stir in asafetida powder, and turmeric powder.
Roast cinnamon, cloves, cardamom. Add onion and sauté until slightly brown Add chopped green bell pepper, green chilies, curry leaves and add masala powder. Sauté. Add rice and stir gently without breaking the rice. Stir in the cauliflower. Toss. - 5
Add salt AND TOSS. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves with stem. Aromatic flavorful and tasty fried rice is ready. Taste, transfer to a serving plate or bowl. Serve with chips. fried papads vadam, or raitha.
