Wash all the lentils well and soak them for 10 hours..

Add the soaked lentils to the cooker, add garlic, one table spoon of chilli powder, 2 table spoon of butter, pour water, cover the cooker and let it cook for 10 whistles.

Open the cooker and check the dal to see if it is cooked well then use a masher to mash it well..

Heat the pan and add the butter, oil on it, heat it and add ginger and garlic paste to it and fry it along with the chillies powder..

Add tomato paste and saute well..

Once the tomatoes are cooked add cumin powder and add the boiled lentils and let it boil.

If it is thick after adding dal, add some water and let it boil, add required amount of salt and let it boil....

When it boils well and reaches the desired consistency, add fresh cream and let it boil for two minutes

When everything boils and is ready, finally add Kasuri Methi and a little butter...
