Wash leg of lamb and dry it. If necessary, remove films.

On one side, make deep cuts across. Sprinkle and rub spices into the meat on all sides.

Cut the orange into slices, approximately 1 cm thick. Insert into the slits in the meat.

Wrap the leg tightly in several layers of foil. Bake in an oven preheated to 160 degrees an hour and a half.

Open the foil and check the readiness of the meat with a game thermometer. Bake the leg for about 20 more minutes until golden brown.

After baking, let the meat rest for about 20 minutes.
