Besides stews and cakes, you can also make bread in a slow cooker. This loaf is about 400 grams. Rotate the ceramic pot every 15 minutes to prevent the bread from burning on the sides, as the heating elements of slow cookers are located on the sides, not the bottom as commonly thought.

Place the ingredients in the mixer in order, and mix on low speed until combined. Once combined, increase the speed and knead for 10 minutes.

With your hands, form a ball and lightly coat it with oil. Let it rest in the same bowl, covered with a cloth, for 50 minutes, during which it will double in size.

After this time, sprinkle flour on the countertop and turn out the dough to deflate it.

Bring it together, knead lightly, shape it back into a ball. Let it rest while greasing the ceramic pot, which should also be lined with greased parchment paper. Place the dough ball inside, and lightly coat the top and sides with oil using a brush or your fingers.

Place a cloth between the lid and the pot. Turn on to high temperature. Time: 1 hour 35 minutes. After this time, turn off and let it sit with residual heat for 20 more minutes.

Uncover and remove using the edges of the paper. Place on a rack to cool.
