Steps
- 1
Rinse the fish well, let it drain, and season with salt. Heat your skillet—if you have a nonstick (Teflon) skillet, use just a little oil; I use olive oil. If you don't have a nonstick skillet or olive oil, don't worry—use what you have. If using a regular skillet, add enough oil to almost fill the pan; this will help fry the fish evenly.
- 2
Once the skillet and oil are hot, cut the garlic cloves in half and add the peeled garlic to the oil to flavor it. Then add the fish and cover the skillet with a lid to prevent the oil from splattering.
- 3
When the fish no longer sticks to the pan, flip it over and cover again. Meanwhile, start chopping the vegetables for the salad.
- 4
Once everything is chopped and the fish is ready, you can serve and garnish as you like. It's not too hard—I hope this recipe is helpful!
- 5
If you have a clay pot, it works even better and gives the fish a great flavor.
