Soak the urad daal overnight.

Remove all the water and grind the daal in the mixer. Take the grinded daal in a bowl and beat it firmly for 5-10 minutes. By doing this, the daal will get fluffy will help the vada to be soft.

Take a kadahi, pour the oil in it and put it on stove on medium heat.

Take one spoon daal in your hand and make a ball out of it. Open it on the top and add some dryfruits in it and then close the opening. Make few of these before putting them in oil.

Fry the balls in oil at medium heat for 10-15 minutes.

Once done, keep them aside. After few minutes, drop them in a bowl of water. This will help vadas to become softer.

Take curd in a bowl and whisk it, add salt and sugar to it.

Squeeze the water out of vada's and mix them in curd.

Server two of them at a time with green and sweet chutney and chat masala on top.
