Hearty Sandwich!
A sandwich that's both visually appealing and super satisfying! It's really easy to make.
About this recipe:
Recently, hearty sandwiches have been trending. Since I couldn't go out to eat one, I decided to make it at home.
Steps
- 1
Spread margarine on one side of each bread slice. I used black rice bread this time.
- 2
Place the lettuce on one slice and drizzle with mayonnaise.
- 3
Add the tomato slice.
- 4
Fold each ham slice in half and arrange all 3 on top.
- 5
Add the slice of cheese.
- 6
Slice the hard-boiled egg in half lengthwise and arrange on top. (Sorry, mine broke a little!)
- 7
Top with the other slice of bread.
- 8
Wrap the sandwich in parchment paper or a paper napkin and secure with tape.
- 9
Cut the sandwich in half with a bread knife, paper and all. Enjoy!
- 10
By the way, you can also make it neatly without wrapping in paper! Here's an egg salad version.
