Cooking Instructions

[Boil the edamame]
1. Rinse about 3.5 ounces (100 grams) of edamame in pods. Bring 1 cup (250 ml) of water and 1/2 teaspoon salt to a boil in a pot, then add the edamame. - 2
2. Boil for about 3 minutes, then drain and let cool. Remove the edamame from the pods.
- 3
Cut the processed cheese (I used Baby Cheese) into 1/2-inch (1 cm) cubes. Divide both the cheese and the edamame from step 2 into 9 portions each.
- 4
Add all the bread dough ingredients to the bread machine pan. Select the "dough" course and start.
- 5
If your bread machine has an automatic yeast dispenser, use it for the dry yeast.
- 6
When the dough is ready, remove it from the pan and place it on a lightly floured surface (use extra bread flour as needed).
- 7
Divide the dough into 9 equal pieces using a dough scraper. Gently press each piece to release air and shape into balls. Cover with a damp cloth and let rest for 8 minutes (bench rest).
- 8
You can adjust the number of portions as you like. Use extra bread flour to prevent sticking when handling the dough.
- 9
Take one piece of dough, press it flat to release air, and stretch it to about 3 inches (8 cm) wide. Place one portion of the processed cheese from step 3 in the center.
- 10
Roll up the dough from the edge, pinching the seam closed with your fingers.
- 11
Repeat steps 9 and 10 for all 9 pieces. Place them seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 12
Mist the dough and the inside of the oven with water. Place the baking sheet in a 105°F (40°C) oven for 40 minutes to proof.
- 13
After proofing, remove the baking sheet from the oven and preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- 14
Make a single slit on the top of each dough ball with a knife.
- 15
Place one portion of the edamame from step 3 and some bacon (cut into 1/4-inch/5 mm pieces) into each slit.
- 16
Top with shredded pizza cheese.
- 17
Once the oven is preheated, bake for about 15 minutes, watching closely.
- 18
Cool the baked bread on a wire rack.

Because I didn't have enough butter to bake bread, I used mayonnaise.I made this because I wanted to bake a breakfast bread. In Step 3 when rolling out the dough, roll it so that it is 2-3 cm longer than the bacon. When spreading the mayonnaise, don't cover the last 1/4 of the dough. This will help seal the ends securely. Recipe by Dokintan cookpad.japan -
Chunky Bacon and Onion Cheese Bread Chunky Bacon and Onion Cheese Bread
The basic bread dough recipe that I used is. My husband likes this bread and requests it but since he eats too much, I only make it sometimes. I made it in a square tin this time, which gave it some impact.Adjust the amount of water based on the type of bread flour you use. The dough is quite soft so it's a little difficult to handle. I like to use as little extra flour as possible so if it sticks to the counter, I use a scraper to scraper it off and shape it with that. Recipe by Pu-kosan cookpad.japan -

Delicious Bakery-Style Bacon Bread Delicious Bakery-Style Bacon Bread
COOKPAD user "Lincli's" ham and cheese rolls are delicious, so I tried making them with sauce. They are both delicious, and making bread is just so much fun that I can't stop. When wrapping up the sauce in the dough, coat only half of it, or else it will get in the way when closing up and you won't be able to do it tightly! Coat the dough as lightly as possible with the sauce and then top it with even more sauce when finished baking to make it taste delicious. Recipe by Meirinrin cookpad.japan -

Miso French Bread Made in a Bread Machine Miso French Bread Made in a Bread Machine
I tried adding salt to bread dough with miso instead, and the result was a very flavorful bread.A friend pointed out to me that the fermentation time was probably being delayed by the active microorganisms in the miso. Following her advice, I tried heating it right away, and the result was that the dough absorbed moisture better, and the final result was improved too. Please try heating up the miso first too.
