Wonderful, fabulous, excellent little meat filled pies....you can substitute meat for apples, cherries or your choice to make dessert pies. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

Wonderful, fabulous, excellent little meat filled pies....you can substitute meat for apples, cherries or your choice to make dessert pies. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
Steps

Preheat oven to 350°

Peel apart empanada wrappers and lay them out
- 3
Put a heaping Tbsp of Picadillo (more or less) or filling of your choice onto each empanada wrapper.

Put beaten egg around inside edge of wrapper.

Fold wrapper over and pinch edges with fingers or fork to seal.

Place empanadas on cookie sheet.
- 7
Brush tops with beaten egg.
- 8
Place in oven for 10-15 minutes or until browned on top.

Use caution around children or you won't get any at all......ENJOY!
