Brookies

The other day I was watching Masterchef Australia, where the contestants had to make midnight snacks and this thing caught hold of my eye and I wanted to bake them too . It did win amongst the other two recipes ! So I searched the recipe on net and found a really easy one .
It was yummiest I ever had ! My daughter who never eats these stuffs so much gobbled like 2 of them and I, 5 at one go 😉 so here it is for you guys to try ! Do let me know after you try this ! ☺

Preheat the oven to 160°C and line the tray with parchment paper.

In a bowl, sift together flour,cocoa, baking powder and baking soda. Stir in the sugar and salt. Mix until combined.

Add the butter and vanilla.

Add the milk (firstly add 2 tbsps to combine the mixture and if it doesn't look combined add one more tbsp of milk to it

Add half of the chocolate chips and mix. Make into a smooth dough

Chill the dough in fridge for 10 - 15 mins

Make even sized balls and keep the brookies 2 inches apart on parchment paper as they to spread. Place the half of chocolate chips on the brookies.

Bake for 10 mins ONLY. They may look soft and undergone. But once yu let them cool they become crisp like brownies on outside and soft like them on inside. Baking for longer time will make your brookies hard.

Leave them to cool for 10- 15 mins completely and transfer to air tight container.
