Ingredients

15 minutes
4 servings
  1. 600-800 gWhite Fish Fillets *e.g. Whiting, Blue Grenadier, Cod, etc
  2. Salt & Pepper
  3. 2-3 tablespoonsPotato Starch
  4. Oil for frying
  5. Spicy Sauce Ingredients
  6. 2-3Spring Onion *finely chopped
  7. 1 cloveGarlic *finely chopped
  8. 1small piece Ginger *grated
  9. 1/2-1Chilli *finely chopped
  10. 4 tablespoonsPonzu *OR Soy Sauce 2 tablespoons & Rice Vinegar 2 tablespoons
    Ponzu
  11. 1 tablespoonSesame Oil
  12. 1/2 teaspoonSugar *optional

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Combine all the Spicy Sauce ingredients in a small bowl. If you want sweetness, add 1/2 teaspoon Sugar.

  2. 2

    Cut Fish into bite size, and season with Salt and Pepper. Coat with Potato Starch and fry in deep hot Oil, about 180℃, until golden and crispy.

  3. 3

    Place the fried Fish on a plate, cover with the sauce, and serve hot and crispy.
