Pabda Fish in Mustard gravy
Shorshe Begun 🍆 diye Pabda Macher jhal.
Steps

Marinade fish with slight salt + turmeric for 10 -15 minutes, then fry golden brown and keep aside.

Cut medium slices of brinjal, cut medium slices of potatoes, slit green chili and roughly chop tomato.

Make a paste of mustard powder by adding 4 tbsp water + salt + 1/2 tsp mustard oil and keep aside.

Add oil in a moderately heated pan, add onion seeds and allow to crackle, then add potato + brinjal + green chili and sauté for 2 minutes.

Then add Mustard paste + 1/4 cup water and sauté for few minutes.

Add water and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Add fried Pabda fish and cook further for 2-3 minutes, lastly add 1/2 tsp Mustard Oil and switch off Flame.

Dish is done, serve with hot steamed rice.
