Quick and Easy Wonton Soup

I saw some delicious wonton wrappers at the market, so this dish was born! Everything is used up in one meal, with no leftovers. When I cook, I always try to plan so that each meal is just enough, with no excess. If there's a little shortage, we can eat some fruit to make up for it. This way, there's no food waste, no need to store leftovers in the fridge, and no getting bored from eating the same old dish again!

Steps

30-40 minutes
  1. 1

Peel the onion and shallots, place them in a pot with the dried shrimp, and bring to a boil with 3 tablespoons of fish sauce, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 3 quarts of water, and 10 dried shrimp. Meanwhile, wash the green onions and cilantro, remove the roots, and chop finely. Add 1/3 of the green onions and cilantro to the ground pork, pork paste, fish sauce, and sugar, and mix well.

Take a small amount of the mixed meat, place it in a wonton wrapper, gather the four corners together, and drop it into the boiling water. Continue until all the filling is used. As the wontons cook, they will float to the surface and turn a translucent golden color. Remove them to a plate immediately.
