Ingredients

4 servings
  • 6 cupsdiced turnip roots
  • 1-1/4 poundBacon
  • 1 stickbutter
  • 1-1/4 teaspoonsalt or to taste
  • 1/3 teaspoonground black pepper
  • 1/2large onion diced
  • 1-1/2 tablespoonschopped parsley

Steps

  1. 1

    Add diced turnip to a pan with onions turn the heat to high

    Add bacon, salt, and pepper.

    Slice the butter into pats and add

    Stir well add parsley.

    Cook till the turnip till tender and browned, about 20-25 minutes.
