Heat a grill pan or, if you don't have one, use a nonstick skillet. Toast the bread.

Cut the tomato into small cubes. Toss with olive oil, a roughly chopped garlic clove (to be removed later), oregano, and salt.

Take the toasted bread slices, rub them with a garlic clove, top with the tomato mixture, and add a few basil leaves.
