Steps

Take basmati rice and dal together wash properly and soak for 20 minutes.

In the pressure cooker take ghee add mustard seeds and jeera. As they start crackling add ginger garlic paste,clove and bay leaf.

After that add all the spices and vegetables saute for 2 minutes. Add soaked basmati rice and dal and add the water and keep the cooker on high flame for 4 whistles. As cooker gets cold serve immediately with buttermilk or papad.
