Adeni Chai, also known as Yemeni tea, is a rich and spiced milk tea that is particularly popular in Yemen and the surrounding regions. It is characterized by its bold flavours, which are derived from a combination of black tea and various spices, including cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon. The tea is traditionally prepared with evaporated milk, giving it a creamy texture that enhances its sweetness and richness.

Adeni Chai also known as Karak tea, is a strong, spiced tea popular in the Middle East, Pakistan and India. Its bold robust flavour and addition of cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon is what set it apart from other milk teas.

Different regions adapt the spices and milk used in Adeni Chai to suit local tastes. For example, some variations might use whole milk or half-and-half instead of evaporated or condensed milk, and the choice of spices can vary based on personal preference. These variations highlight the versatility of Adeni Chai, making it a beloved beverage across various cultures while maintaining its core characteristics of being a spiced, creamy tea.

This tea can be enjoyed hot or iced, making it versatile for different occasions. It pairs well with a variety of desserts, such as baklava and cinnamon rolls, enhancing the overall dining experience.
