Toss the tomatoes with 1 tablespoon oil, garlic and salt. Place cut side down in a 15 x 10 x 1“ baking pan. Bake at 450° for 20 to 25 minutes or until tender. Chop one cool enough to handle.

Cook ziti according to package directions adding broccoli during the last four minutes. Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat cook sausage and remaining oil until no longer pink, add pepper flakes. Cook one minute longer stirring tomatoes, and heat through.

Toss ziti mixture with sausage mixture, sprinkle cheese.
