Ingredients

  1. 1 poundkofta
  2. 3onions, each cut into four pieces
  3. 3tomatoes, each cut into four pieces
  4. 1 poundpotatoes, sliced into rounds
  5. 1/2 bunchcilantro
  6. 1 cuptahini
  7. 1/2 cupyogurt
  8. 1 tablespoonsalt
  9. Juice of 2 lemons
  10. Pinchsweet curry powder
  11. Pinchseven spice mix

Steps

  1. 1

    Place the onions, tomatoes, and kofta in a baking dish. Season with spices and salt. Bake in the oven until they release their juices. Drain the juices and mix them with tahini, yogurt, spices, salt, and lemon juice. Set aside.

    Fry the potatoes and add them to the baking dish. Remove the kofta and arrange it on top. Pour the tahini mixture over everything, sprinkle with chopped cilantro, and bake in the oven until the top is golden brown. Enjoy!
