  • 1 1/8 poundspotatoes (about 500 grams)
  • 1 cantuna, 10.4 oz (295 grams)
  • as neededWater,
  • as neededSalt,
  • as neededOil,

Steps

    Boil the potatoes in enough water to cover them.

  2. 2

    Once the potatoes are cooked, drain and mash them to make a purée.

  3. 3

    Drain the tuna and add it to the mashed potatoes. Add salt and mix well.

  4. 4

    Shape the mixture into patties with your hands and dip them in beaten egg.

  5. 5

    Heat enough oil in a skillet. Once hot, fry the patties until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Optional: For extra crunch, coat the patties in breadcrumbs before frying.
