Ingredients

20 minutes
1 serving
  1. 8-10medium shrimp
  2. 1/4 tspgaram marsala (for shrimp)
  3. 1/4 tspsmoked paprika (for shrimp)
  4. Pinchsalt to taste (for shrimp)
  5. 1 tspoil (for shrimp)
  6. 1 tbspbutter
  7. 1/2small onion
  8. 2 clovesgarlic minced
  9. 1 tspchopped ginger
  10. 200 gcrushed tomatoes
  11. 1/4 tspgaram masala
  12. 1/2 tspcumin
  13. 1/4 tspchili powder
  14. 1/2 tspsugar (optional)
  15. 1/4 tspturmeric
  16. 1/4 tspcayenne
  17. 2-3 tbspheavy cream
  18. 1 tspchopped cilantro (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate the shrimp with the shrimp seasonings. Seasonings that say "for shrimp" !

    In a pan on medium heat add butter, onion, garlic and ginger. Cook that for 2-3 minutes or until unions are translucent

  3. 3

    Pour in crushes tomatoes and add in the seasonings

  4. 4

    Mix it all together and let that cook for 3-4 minutes

  5. 5

    Add in your shrimp cook that for about 2 minutes each side

  6. 6

    If you're not sure your shrimp is cooked cut one open ! It should no longer be translucent on the inside :))

    Once shrimp is just about cooked. Pour in the heavy cream. Give it a good mix and turn the heat to medium low and let that cook for about another 2 minutes

    Optional but top with chopped cilantro
