Creamy chicken spinach pasta ✨

Ingredients

  1. 1chicken breast (sliced in half)
  2. 1 cupspinach
  3. 1/2 tspitalian seasoning (for chicken)
  4. 1/4 tspsalt (for chicken)
  5. 1/2 tsppaprika (for chicken)
  6. 1 tbspoil
  7. 1 tbspbutter (or another tbsp oil)
  8. 2 clovesgarlic
  9. 1shallot
  10. 1/4 cupheavy cream
  11. 1 tbspgrated Parmesan
  12. 1/4 cuppasta water
  13. 80 gpasta

Cooking Instructions

    Cook your pasta according to package instructions, reserve 1/4 cups of pasta water

  2. 2

    Add some oil to a pan on medium high heat. Cook halved (horizontally) chicken breasts for 3-5 minutes each side. To an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit or 74 degrees Celsius

    Remove the cooked chicken breast. In the same pan. Turn the heat to medium low, add in diced shallot and chopped garlic. Let that cook for 4-5 minutes or until fragrant and shallots are translucent

    Pour in heavy cream, mix well and season with salt and pepper to your liking

  5. 5

    Add in parmesan and spinach, mix and let that cook for 3-4 minutes or until spinach has reduced significantly in size

  6. 6

    If your sauce is to thick add in pasta water 2 tbsp at a time until desired consistency

  7. 7

    Add in your cooked pasta

  8. 8
