Fluffy fried banana poori,dish from Mangalore/udupi ,best option for breakfast and lunch or as a snack.

Remove skin from banana and mash it or blend in a mixi jar, add soda,salt,sugar,curd mix everything well then add wheat flour, maida and prepare medium soft dough(no need to add any water) apply oil and keep aside for 5 hours or overnight.

Now knead the dough again to soft,make small balls and roll it to thick poori. Heat oil and fry both sides till a nice golden colour.

Mangalore Buns ready to serve with korma or chutney.
